The first Mineralogical Exchange in Pribram took place in 1986. It was organized as part
of one section “World deposits of gemstones” of the 25th Symposium Mining Pribram
in Science and Technology.
Since then it has been organize every year the third week of the October as it was
traditionally organized the symposium as its accompanying events.
For technical reasons, the term of the Exchange moved ahead of the symposium to September and since 1995
has been added a Spring term also and changed the name from the Exchange on Mineralogical Meeting .
